Hi, I’m Sammy Yau, the funder of “ipapermachine.com”, I’ve been working a factory in China that makes tissue paper equipment for 10 years now, and the purpose of this article is to share with you the knowledge related to tissue paper from a Chinese supplier’s perspective.

Breathe fresh air! Where is my lamb?

I have been working since I graduated from college at the age of 24. As a child of the countryside, I love freedom, experimentation, learning and yoga exercises, Chinese national culture, I Ching and Buddhism, and homeschooling.

I live in a small town in Quanzhou, Fujian Province with my amazing husband, Jacky Zhang, and my child, Grace Zhang, which is the English name I gave my 4 year old daughter, I’m not sure she’ll like it, but I’ll respect her choice! I am only 10 minutes away from my work office, which gives me more time to study I Ching and Buddhism, and more time in my day to record about my daughter’s happiness and unhappiness.

When I’m not working, I travel with my family. We have been to many distant cities all within the country of course and have been lucky enough to be able to see many parts of China. People always ask me what my favorite city is, and the answer is without a doubt Quanzhou! When we are in Quanzhou, we love to spend time outdoors, every weekend. We climbed mountains, grew greens, picked strawberries, rode bikes, and lived the typical country life.

When I met my husband when I was 26, we met while working together, we dated a lot before we got married basically every week and he was the one and that was everything. It was the best decision I ever made and I’m still in love with him 10 years later. We got married and after we got married I made a bucket list of 30 things to do in life. It started out as a fun project, but it turned into a lifelong obsession. I’m now approaching the goals on the list. Below you’ll see the entire list, including which ones I’ve accomplished and which ones I haven’t.

We have a child together and we spend all of our time with her. When we moved to the city, it helped us focus more on our family. We started homeschooling our kids (we’re still new at it, but enjoying it so far) and we spend a lot of time playing sports together and learning and laboring together. Being a mother is the most exhausting thing in the world, but I do love this child so much.

My Bucket List

Be a student body officer in college (COMPLETE! I was the student body vice-president at university)
Fall in love and get married (COMPLETE! I got engaged to my hunsband after years dating, and then we got married. It was only 10 weeks between our first kiss . he’s been a wonderful companion for almost 10 years of marrige now.
Have a girl who can dance and sing (Complete! I have one gilr who I love very much)
Sing a solo in front of hundreds people （complete! I sang a solo at high school graduation and it’s good thing because I doubt I’ll every have another change to accomplish that goal
Climb the Eiffel Tower (Complete！ Took a trip to France to do this)
Grand for Halloween (Complete！Took a trip to German)
See the Vatican, the smallest country in the world (Complete! Took a trip to Italy to do this)
Watch the Italian fashion show (Complete! Took a trip to Italy)
Receive certification as a family education instructor (Complete! It takes around 2years to finish)
Find a suitable company and work for more than 10 years (Complete! Now the work is almost 10years)
Read Chinese Traditional Culture: DAXUE and QIANZIWEN （Complete! It is fantastic, my daughter together with me
Speak a foreign language fluently (Complete! English )
Have done the speedy Ferris wheel and roller coaster (Complete! It was a scary experience, my heart almost jumped out of my chest because of the fear of heights)

Staying by yourself at night in a house in the woods (Complete! Complete! I can’t believe I did it!)
See the snow, eat a bite of snow (Complete! When trip in German in winter I done, It was a treat for someone who didn’t have snow in his hometown, and the snow was lightly salted)
